Rule # 26 – Story of the Universe

Story of the Universe by Arsh

Rule # 26

The universe is one being. Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do not harm. Practice compassion. And do not gossip behind anyone’s back –not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space, and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile.

-The Forty Rules of Love

Amazingly, it is one true thing. This Earth is round. What goes around definitely comes around and one shouldn’t do such a thing that he doesn’t want for himself. What will backbiting cause us? Pain in that other world and enmity in this world, right? Why don’t we avoid it then? What does giving smiles cause us? Happiness and a cheerful day, right? Why not give it then? Harming is not a good choice and humans are sensitive enough to understand that.

O dear Human

Do not become inhumane.

Do not hurt

It kills to death;

The soul within.

Beware, dear human,

It will come around

In this life

Or the other one;

What thee did.

Be good to the rest

To rest in peace.

There’s a connection

Between all

and so do you have

and so will you see

the not so predicted things.

O lovely human,

Memorize this tale

The story of this universe

It is wild

Yet connected.
