Rule # 27- Just like an Echo

Just like an Echo by Arsh

Rule # 27

This world is like a snowy mountain that echoes your voice. Whatever you speak, good or evil, will somehow come back to you. Therefore, if there is someone who harbors ill thoughts about you, saying similarly bad things about him will only make matters worse. You will be locked in a vicious circle of malevolent energy. Instead for forty days and nights say and think nice things about that person. Everything will be different at the end of forty days, because you will be different inside.

-The Forty Rules of Love

As it’s said, “what goes around, comes around,” it’s a fact of life. When we personally don’t like people talking ill about us, how can we do the same? We don’t want people who talk or even think about us and so do they. Ill comes from inside and shows our true nature. Make your nature beautiful. Be beautiful from the inside because honestly, outside doesn’t matter much. Do you dislike someone? Stop there. Start thinking about the good points about him/her for a few days and it will become your habit. You’ll forget about the bad habits of that person and there, you’ll attract the same towards yourself. People will think good about you. Don’t let the bad come to you. Good vibes only! 🙂

O thou human,

Listen, open up

But not like the wild

Talk,

But not too cold

For it’s like an echo

And will come around

Hit you back

Just with the same intensity.

Beware!

-Arsh Azim

  1. True. SubhanAllah it always does, in one way or another.

Scholars of the past were very keen about their actions as they have a reaction which we might not feel at that time but later on it will surely haunt us.
